Peace Campaigns Survey (QPSW)

Thank you for taking part in our review of the work of QPSW. We really value your contribution. Please do not feel that you have to answer every single question – simply respond to as many as you feel able to, in whatever form suits you best. Please note that the deadline for all responses is 5pm on Thursday 8th June 2023. Submissions made after this date risk not being included.

1. In your experience of QPSW peace campaigning work, what difference has it made? Has anything worked particularly well?

2. What strengths do you think QPSW brings to peace campaigning and advocacy? Is there anything we’re particularly well-placed to do?

3. What peace and security issues would you particularly like to see QPSW work on in the coming years, and why?

4. Would you like to see QPSW maintaining work on a broad range of peace issues, or focusing in depth on a smaller number at any one time?

5. QPSW would like to campaign for peace in a way that links it with a) the climate crisis, and b) racial justice. Are there ways you think we could effectively do this?

6. How strong is your/your Quaker community’s understanding of the peace testimony and confidence in witnessing for peace? Is there anything you’d like to see QPSW do to support this?

7. How would you like the peace campaigning programme to interact with Friends? Would you like to be kept updated about the work and ways to get involved, or be involved in the planning of campaigns from the outset? Are there any ways you think QPSW has effectively involved Friends/allowed Friends to make an input into campaigns in the past?

8. Would you like to receive information about QPSW peace campaigning work through a dedicated peace communications channel or are you happy to receive it as part of more generalised BYM comms such as the Quake! newsletter?
